Views: The Lantern Festival, also known as Shangyuan Festival, Xiaozhengyue, Yuanxi, or the Festival of Lights, is the first important festival after the Spring Festival. It is a traditional festival in China, as well as in regions influenced by Chinese character culture and among overseas Chinese communities.
To enrich the cultural life of employees, enliven the festive atmosphere, and allow everyone to celebrate the Lantern Festival in a joyful and harmonious ambiance, a themed activity of “Making Tangyuan · Celebrating the Festival” was specially organized.

First, the Administration Department made preparations. They kneaded the glutinous rice flour into dough and rolled the pre-made filling into evenly sized small balls.

When the activity began, the prepared glutinous rice flour, black sesame filling, red bean filling, and other ingredients were brought out. Amidst a cheerful atmosphere, everyone started making Tangyuan. Some kneaded the dough, while others prepared the fillings. “First, roll it into a small ball, then flatten it, add the filling, and pinch it closed.” Experienced colleagues patiently explained the process, guiding everyone step by step.

Amidst laughter and joy, one by one, snow-white Tangyuan took shape, resembling the Winter Olympics mascot “Bing Dwen Dwen,” igniting a festive and celebratory atmosphere while also conveying good wishes for the Olympic athletes.

After the activity, everyone enjoyed the Tangyuan they had made, deeply immersed in the festive atmosphere. Organizing activities around traditional festivals not only preserves the excellent customs of traditional Chinese culture but also enriches employees’ cultural life, brings colleagues closer together, and strengthens team cohesion.
