On May 16, the SISP Outstanding Women in Science and Technology Award Ceremony and Women in Science and Technology Forum were successfully held in the multifunctional hall on the first floor of Building D09, Shenyang International Software Park. More than 20 attendees participated, including Zhao Jinyang, Chairman of the Hunnan District Association for Science and Technology; Wang Nan, Chairwoman of the Hunnan District Women's Federation; Su Wan, Secretary-General of the Shenyang International Software Park Association for Science and Technology; representatives of outstanding women in science and technology; and representatives from various enterprise science and technology associations.A strong country relies on strong science and technology, and national prosperity depends on technological advancement. Technological innovation cannot be achieved without the strength of women. To celebrate the 8th "National Science and Technology Workers' Day" and to respond to the China Association for Science and Technology's initiative to "do practical things for women in science and technology," the park's Association for Science and Technology organized a selection of outstanding women in science and technology across the entire park. This aimed to fully showcase the contemporary spirit of women in science and technology, continuously enhance their influence and voice, and foster a supportive and caring environment. After extensive nominations, evaluation, and public notification, ten outstanding women in science and technology were selected. At the event, Zhao Jinyang, Chairman of the Hunnan District Association for Science and Technology, and Wang Nan, Chairwoman of the Hunnan District Women's Federation, presented awards to the honorees.
To further inspire and motivate women in science and technology to become creators, leaders, and role models in innovation-driven development, and to guide and encourage them to achieve greater value in the field of technological innovation, the ten outstanding women in science and technology were specially appointed as "Technology Entrepreneurship Mentors" for the park's Association for Science and Technology. In the future, they will provide training, innovation and entrepreneurship guidance for more women in science and technology within the park, and participate in the evaluation work of the park's Association for Science and Technology.
